Price Matching

Corner Music will match the advertised prices of identical and in-stock merchandize sold online in the United States.  Advertised prices must be current and published on the competitor’s website.  Please provide us with the advertisement’s link for verification.  You will receive an email authorizing the pricing once confirmed. Please keep in mind, applicable taxes and freight charges factor in the matching process.

MAP Price Matching

Minimum Advertised Pricing is a policy constructed by most, if not all manufacturers of retail products, to ensure channels are not publishing prices detrimental to a company’s brand.  In layman’s terms, retailers must post pricing of a brand new item for no less than the MAP amount set forth by the manufacturer.  Both large corporations and small builder strictly enforce their MAP policies, and violation of such terms ends up in a retailer losing the product line.

Keep in mind many online retailers will broadcast discounts when an identical item is listed for less on a competitor’s website.  However, there are normally exclusions, in very small type, illustrating certain items cannot qualify.  These pieces typically fall under MAP pricing guidelines, so just be aware of the fine print before assuming something is too good to be true.

Corner Music strongly supports MAP pricing policies, as they protect the integrity of the brands they represent, and help to keep local stores, like us, in business.  Remember, price is something you only have to consider once.  Cost is an entity experienced throughout the duration of time you own a product.  You may save, initially, when buying from a store in html only, but purchasing an expensive instrument from a brick and mortar establishment assures quality, consistency, hands-on assistance and full service, including repairs and warranty issues.  Generally, a customer will find the amenities of a local establishment provide a much greater return on their investment.  Moreover, you always end up having more fun.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns for credit, or an exchange for a different item are welcome up to thirty days from receipt of your purchase.  If your item is defective, we will gladly exchange it for a new one.  Should you decide you'd like a different item instead, we will gladly use 100% of your original purchase price towards the product you desire.  For product exchanges, you will be responsible for insured return shipping, and the item must be in the same condition it was received in.

For those of you purchasing an instrument online, it can feel like a risky endeavor.  To ensure the integrity of our store and the products we represent, we will allow a 2-Day/48 Hour inspection period from the time you receive your item.  Within that 48 Hours, if for any reason you are not satisfied with the product, please notify us explaining the reasons you wish to return the item.  You are responsible for all return shipping charges, and the item must be in the exact condition it was prior to leaving our store.  A restocking charge will be applied to any damage or noticeable wear incured while in your possession.
