We sell these monitors as a pair. Please call about individual sales.
The “junior” version of the excellent HS8, the Yamaha HS5 nearfield monitors are perfect for home recorders without a lot of space and pro engineers looking for quality small monitors to reference against their main speakers.
The 70-watt, bi-amped 5” woofer/1” tweeter combo gives an accurate representation of mixes. Frequency range on the HS5s goes from 54Hz-30kHz. The low end won’t overwhelm, but you’ll get an honest impression of what most people will eventually hear (which is what makes smaller monitors so valuable in the first place).
And of course, you’ll get legendary Yamaha reliability: great sound, small size, small price.
Why We Like Yamaha HS Series Monitors
No, we’re not stuck in tradition. But we’re suckers for unrelenting standards, and Yamaha has always kept the bar high. Lots of our engineer and home recording customers have been counting on Yamaha’s nearfield monitors for 30+ years, and they just keep getting better. No surprises. Quality build and sound. Reliable. That’s what we’re talkin’ about.
