As the flagship model from Gibson Custom Shop, the Les Paul Custom lives up to the high standards set by its 1950s archetype while evolving to be more suited to today's musical demands. This one features a rounded '50s neck profile to bring back the classic Les Paul feel. The rest is what you'd expect: two-piece maple top, Mahogany body, ebony fingerboard with Mother of Pearl inlays and gold hardware to complete the "tuxedo" look.
The pickups are 490/498 humbuckers and they deliver the classic balls to the wall Gibson tone we all know and love—it won't make you play better, but it'll make everything you do play sound better! This Gibson is also not for the people looking for a Les Paul under 8lbs, this one is hefty—10.5lbs. Hardshell case is included.
