Gibson Hummingbird Faded  -  Satin Natural

Those wacky kids at Gibson are always willing to try something new, and this time it’s the Faded series. For players who prefer a very low-gloss, matte finish, these are the guitars for you.

The new Hummingbird Faded offers traditional Hummingbird size, woods and trim (including the unmistakeable Hummingbird-engraved pickguard); but instead of the familiar vintage sunburst (or cherry sunburst) gloss finish, the Hummingbird Faded features an ultra-thin natural satin finish that shows off the Sitka spruce top and unstained mahogany back and sides.

The rounded-profile mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with parallelogram inlays and a comfortable 24.75” scale for that comfortable Hummingbird feel—to go with the bold Gibson square-shoulder tone. New look, but recognizable, dependable Gibson sound and feel.

A Gibson hardshell case is included.
