The WR-7 is a brilliant idea for guitar players trying to emulate real banjo sound. Tuned like a 6-string guitar, the WR-7 features doubled strings on the low E (one standard, and one an octave higher) so you can achieve the clawhammer drone effect of a banjo’s 5th string.
Designed by Wayne Rogers, the WR-7 is easy for any guitarist to play, without having to learn banjo tuning and technique, while traditional open-back banjo construction creates authentic tone. The WR-7 includes a pre-installed SMP pickup and gig bag.
